I know the jimny is no dragster but since I've put 235 75 15s on it's on road performance is terrible. Has anyone tried any go-faster mods eg cat removal or air filter. I have also considered a corsa cdti turbo I have lying around which wouldn't need to much work to fit but not sure how ecu would take to it.

Im running 285/75 16s and cant get 50mph from mine, it wont even hold 45 on a tiny incline and unless im on the flat I have to change to 4th. Thats even with a rocklobster fitted
But it's FANTASTIC off-road so I dont care

What, not even with all that stuff on it? The box ratios must be good
By the way what is a cut and turn front axle?

Dont forget it are AT's and a lobsterbox 4.16 ratio, when the car was raised with the full ora 3"liftkit the arms did not correct the castor enough to align the kingpin's back in the "top-bottom" position so we cut the welds on the axle each side to rotate the complete axle another 3degree and weld it back on i hope you understand what i mean? Will shoot some pictures tomorrow if any is intrested?
