Hi does anybody no which scanner is needed for my w reg jimny it's got the 13gbb engine can't seem to get one to read mine eBay sell one but it says for 2001 onwards my mate has one in his garage but it would not connect. It said wrong format any help would be gratefull

The ones available to the general public are obdii and your engine isn't , so unless you know someone with a garageits the old flashing light trick
