Can anyone tell me how the chrome headlight surrounds/facias are attached? I thought they where stuck down with sticky back foam but mine seem to be securely attached. Could it just be the cold hardening the foam/glue? Really not a chrome fan, and quite keen to get them off intact as they seem to fetch a few £'s on the bay.
Failing removal, think im just gonna mask and spray the chrome parts a funky colour. Rather sell them though...

3m tape .....warm with a hairdryer
Or may have been siliconed on , you can get some remover for that
The chrome ones do fetch good money on the bay so may be worth the messing to get them off in one piece , the grill cover dont do bad either

Hmmm... Only issue with heat is I have to park on the street about 100 yards from my door. Wonder if its worth trying a few drops on petrol to soften the glue maybe? Just want to avoid any damage.
Saw a set go for around the £100 mark the other day! Lots of bids and watchers. Must be hard to come by?

£230 for the headlight surrounds :pinch:  :pinch: WHAT, I thought they would be more like 30 -40 quid.
Try boiling water, at least you can carry a kettle or saucepan out to the car, I have used boiling water in the past to remove badges no problem.
