Found this but doesn't seen to be rubbing, cleaned everything out... :blink:
Can you buy replacement back plates or should I weld a patch or two?

Sent you a pm. If you did replace the backplate you would have to do the rear wheel bearings too.

Right, got the car up on the jack and stands this morning and have found a little something which may point towards the noise??
Found this... Think the seal has gone and it could be running dry of grease? Dirt trapped inside?
Just working out on the street today and its freezing, so might have to wait till next week once I clear some of the rubbish out of my garage!!
