On a 2008 Jimny the required colours in the loom are,
Left indicator - Green/Red stripe
Right indicator - Green/Yellow stripe
Brake lights - Green / White stripe + dots
Side lights - Red / Yellow stripe
* The earth return is Black. *
There are eight in the loom altogether, the other three are, Rear door switch - Black / Brown stripe
Reversing light - Red and-
-Black / White dots.

Ive finished fitting the towbar today, and just had time to identify the wires this afternoon before it came dark so I'll make the connections tomorrow.
The towbar was not as easy as I thought it would be, one of the holes in the chassis was malformed and I had to get my mate to drill it out for me, but bumper came off dead easy,and the rest was plain sailing.
