Recently I had a problem with my jimny it was as if some body nicked the throttle pedal it was fine first thing but as it got warm it started to hang back and miss a little and would not pull up hills or even a slight incline at first thought it was the cat blocked but after changing it and the lamba sensor it seem better but after a few miles it played up again so a member on here sent me a cam sensor and bingo we now gave full power back ps there was no ecu lights or codes just dragging going up hills and not getting full power I'm posting this as a ref just in case anybody gets the same problem hope it helps somebody once again thank you to James for his help and the forum because with out it I would have been f!!!!!!ked or in the doo doo bob
I had exactlyt the same problem, had heard from some one that spray water onto the sensor if its the sensor playing up will make it work again, so I took the car for a drive with a bottle of water it did the same and cut again, squirted water in the cam sensor and hay presto it worked aghain, new cam sensor and its all fixed now. I also had no warning lights and nothing in the ecu logged as a fault.
