This is not a problem we have had before, so it would be very interesting if you could email us some more details/feedback... and work out a solution if need be.

I'm surprised you haven't seen it before rob ! I've had 17 cases sent to me with that problem for rebuild and they have all had separate mounts and a chassis mounted bash plate. and most have been sent back with a cradles !

but "you said" that it's not a good idea to have the bucket joined to the arms ! as it puts more strain on the chassis mounts ! does that mean your new mounts doesn't ??
so how long before you do a full cradle then pmsl.

Does that mean that if anybody bust a case through torque they will get the new arms FOC :-) or are you suggesting people upgrade and pay again ???

This may be of interest !

It's one I wrongly supplied ! (he ordered the full spine model) so if you make him a silly offer + postage then I'll clear it with him. Not to silly though !

nope what I said was that I didn't think it was a good idea having the skid plate as part of the mounts... which I still do not agree with.

Well it's news to me if peopl eare breaking them in std jim jams... the only one we have seen break is on my old challnge Jimny with Yota axles, 37" tyres and grears fitted... That was about 5 weeks ago, hence ehy developing our mount further crossed our mind.

We have never seen it with our current design... but, things move on, people trucks/driving vary... so the parts have to move on also.

Yes the upgrade will be available to anyone who wishes to exchange their small bracket.

The link you just added only uses the std 8 mounting points??? why is that???... The guy has a full proper skid plate, + he'll have brackets supports the casing in both transverse & longitudinal directions and pics up on 15 bolts throughout???... and it won't cost him a penny??? :S
