Yeah, I was thinking about drilling a few good sized holes in it if I end up getting me one. Being made out of 6mm plate(bit of an overkill if you ask me), it should hold up pretty well even if there's some holes in it!Smoggy wrote: I got an ORA one Paul. It's very good and my only criticism is that it's dished and would hold an inch of water when you jetwashed it after a days off roading. I drilled half a dozen 10mm holes in mine and liberally undersealed the top prior to fitting it.

One thing to be careful of if your rocklobster has an xbrake you need to space the ORA one down from the chassis legs with a few washers to create the necessary space above it/

This isn't ORA, it's mine. Kinda big but good drainage and you can see the mount points. I got sick of wires getting caught out in the bush but no problems since I fitted it. I've seen some that are moulded around the transfer box and they are probably better but I like to keep things simple. Did not have to drill any holes.
Found a pic from before I fitted it, may help other home-builders.

That's a nice looking skid plate ZookFastback! I'm so lazy to fab things up these days, so I'm gonna save all my fabricating energy to make worlds coolest looking bumpers for my Jim, so I just ordered the ORA t-box fitting kit and skid, and the 6.5 gears are on their way from the States!
