Pics of installed ORA skid plate? was created by Paul4x4
I've been searching for some pics of installed ORA t-box skids, because I'd like to see how it bolts on under there, and how much it will affect the ground clearance, but I just can't find any! It's no problem for me to make one myself, but if I the ORA one suits my needs that would help my lazy a$$ a lot!

It bolts to the same points as the transfer box mounts. Also check out the jimnybits transferbox guard, takes just minutes to fit.

The reason I'm thinking about getting the ORA one is because they offer a combo deal of t-box fitting kit + skid plate, and if I get the fitting kit I could crab a skid plate on the same order if it's good. Otherwise I'm gonna fab my own skid(if I could raise the t-box some, I think I could make it out of almost flat plate so it wouldn't affect the ground clearance much...).

Have a look at ORA's facebook account. There you'll find pics :-)

I got an ORA one Paul. It's very good and my only criticism is that it's dished and would hold an inch of water when you jetwashed it after a days off roading. I drilled half a dozen 10mm holes in mine and liberally undersealed the top prior to fitting it.
