Wired into the interior circuit so can come on via door switch or via a switch - simples :-))

I did read a thread someone had installed a ‘door switch’ in the lower left of the rear panel.
I noted mine has a blanking grommet is this the way yours is operated?

i just used a standed jimny door switch in the rear of mine and then a stick on bit of plastic from b&q cos my rear door dont shat as it should as its bent

If your boot door isn't bent! does a Jimny door switch work at the back or do your need to modify the length of the plunger? Had a quick look this eve and thought the gap on the boot door to body looked greater than to the doors? Assume the switch fits in the bottom left corner?

I see there is a recessed rectangular area in the roof lining on the passenger side. Is that where they intended to factory fit a rear light? Was an interior light in the back an option?

I plan to fit some type of LED based lighting maybe with bracket off the rear grab handle mounts but want it hooked up to come on when opening the boot door.

Not expecting much for 99p each but hey ho! Worth ago

Planning on wireing up to the original interior light

Also found these... Going to use them as map reading lights as the Red dosnt mess up your night vision or dassle other road users

And hook them up to this to finnish off things nicely!

This sort I was thinking of...

Magnet on the back, clip as well. Only about $6 inc batteries

Same concept/idea but used sticky back velcro. Allows me to attach lights in a number of different places depending on what I am doing.
