No rear interior light - what and how to fit? was created by GuardianAngel
I don't have an interior light in the rear of the Jim. I am not bothered about rear passengers but need to light up the inside of the rear when I have the back door open.
So, I want something that is going to fill the back with light, preferably an LED based system for low power consumption. It would also be handy to be able to swivel the light maybe to shine out side the rear (but must be an internally fitted light).
Has anybody retro fitted an interior light like this, and if so, how was it mounted and wired up?
Cheers

i fitted one last week i used a door pin switch in the rear pasengers side at the bottom where there is a black plug
there is a lot of ways to wire it up if you want to run it of the car battery i used a caravan 12v light and it lights up a treat
if you want to use it as a work light its will need to be bright or you could have an interior light fixed in the rear and fit a 12v fag lighter and plug a work light in to that
