So my 2005 Jimny was having a weird problem. I would drive it a little ways, stop and park and the water in my plastic expansion tank would be boiling. But the dash thermostat wasn't marking hot. Come to find out... it was a busted radiator cap... Then i started overheating after long drives. My radiator was also busted. I was losing Coolant after it heated up. Replaced that too and have had no more expansion tank issues or overheating issues... Hopes this helps someone else!
