I have a problem my rocklobster trans box- keeps jumping out of gear/grating in 2 wheel drive and H4 when any load put on it L4 is not as bad. I have stripped and rebuilt 3 times now checking everything but cant get it to work right. All bearings and seals are new. Selector dogs and selector ring only have minimal wear and selector mechanism functions correctly with all springs and 3 balls in the right places. don't know if anyone has had the same problem?. I think I need someone with more experience of building these boxes to take a look at it for me any sujestions?

Since it's a rocklobster box. Why not try contacting Rockwatt. He should be able to help :-)

check the shifter seat at the base of the lever also... easily overlooked.

We keep factory Suzuki shifter seats on the shelf, along with full gasket/seal kits which might be of use when you finally suss it...
