I'm looking to get the ARB winch bumper for my Jimny (From Rhino Ray)
www.rhinorays.co.uk/bumpers.htm
www.rhinorays.co.uk/jimbump.htm
Does anyone know the weight of this bumper? Is it more than the old style ORA winch bumper?
Is it bolt on?
Also does his website prices include VAT?
Cheers!

Why not instead write an email to Rays with these questions?
And yes, ARB winch bumper is a direct bolt on.

I would be a bit careful with these bumpers from RR. I contacted him about them a while ago and never really got to the bottom of weather they are genuine ARB or ARB style. These ones from RR require mounting plates welded in place. I understood that ARB required no welding and to be honest they are usually more expensive.

You certainly have a point.
Also what I know of, a genuine ARB one comes painted black standard. The RR rip-off is not painted unless you pay extra.
What a fuc***.

i think they are ARB style, as the current ARB importer to the UK will not import them into the UK due to complex rules about "bull bars" i even asked if they could be sold for "off road use only" but i dont think there interested, so if you ever see an ARB bumper come up on ebay, id snap it up, as i dont think they will ever be coming to the UK, unless you import one from somewhere else
