Throttle Position Sensor - TPS - M13A was created by Licksan
I am trying to get hold of a new TPS for my Jimny as it is at fault.

Having checked the output on a diagnostics reader it is very erratic and the stored fault code confirms it is at fault.

Is this sensor a main stealer only part? Euro Car Parts don't have it and I can't find one on the web or eBay... I bought a used one from Cam Suzuki but the housing was broken stoping the connector staying attached so that has gone back and unfortunatley they have no more.

I know it's made by Mikuni but does anybody know the part number or where I can get one?

Was the same one used on any other models with the M13a motor?

FYI, this was causing my Jimny to stall when braking at junctions. With it unplugged the Jimny runs OK on the map sensor alone. With it connected you can hear the injectors ticking as they are being rapidly switched due to the TPS's unstable output.

TIA

Andrew

Thanks for the replies and info all! :)

Wiring is OK so it must be the sensor...

Martin, is the genuine Suzuki one much more than that from Spectromatic?

Anyone else fitted a non standard one / copy?
