Hi I took my jimnys back box off before fitting the new one and we started it to see how loud it was, and it was really quite loud!! It did sound nice though if your planning on just going straight through think it would be a bit too loud. And as for the Mot I'm not really sure if it's okay or not, but if it is really loud I don't think the law will be to happy hehe.
