Inline Fuel filter?? was created by dragular
I have an 05 Jimny with the M13A engine. I dont have any fuel problems right now but i am concerned about the fuel filter in the tank. Would adding an inline fuel filter in the engine bay help improve fuel economy and prolong the life of the in tank filter??
Also, where is the best place to install an inline fuel filter in our vehicles??
and what type to use:
www.amazon.com/Earls-230106-Anodized-Alu...s=inline+fuel+filter
or
www.amazon.com/Wix-33023-Complete-In-Lin...s=inline+fuel+filter

It wouldnt prolong the life of the in tank fuel filter as the fuel/dirt goes through that before it would go through any after market extra filter. Its on the bottom of the pump in the tank so from the tank the first pump and sender filter its first in line.
