Jimny Powertrax Lockright Differential Locker

I know a lot of people prefer the ARB system but i thought i would try the positive locker in the car first.

Does anyone have this system and how do you rate it?

We have one in ours and its great, its normal state is locked but it will sense the jimny turning a corner and unlock and the relock as you straighten up, you'll notice a real difference in your off road ability over axle twisters and in the muddy stuff,but I wouldn't fit one in the front, we have an ARB locker in the front as it is selectable and we only use it occasionally and only in a straight line (breaks halfshafts else)

ARBs are great but will cost the best part of £700-800 with a compressor where as the lockright is about £210

I have a Locker in the rear - must be the cheapest but best mod, ever!

Add a 6:1 Low Box, and your sorted...

I think its one of the best mods possible, not bad on the road and superb off road.

Only problem is trying to find somewhere to get stuck with these plus a rocklobster.

Its being fitted today, managed to rip the axle mounts off a few weeks back (i blame the rocklobster giving me ideas i shouldnt have been!)
