Has anyone fitted an 8274 to a Jimny recently?
I used to use them on my Defender and have been thinking about using one again.
I'd probably have to cut the bonnet to get it in high enough so as to not ruin my approach angle.

Hi
I am midway thru fitting a 8274 to my jimny and yes unless you are prepared to live with mega silly stick out distance at the front then some of the bonnet has to go.
I have also cut out my lower slam panel and replaced it with a piece of welded in 40x40x2 RHS nearer the radiator so to keep some strenght in the front end.
Warn will then sit above chassis rails well up out of the dirt and looks frigin awsome to boot can send you some pictures if it helps

Yeah some pics would be great thanks.

Not fussed about cutting the bonnet and the front of the chassis is gonna be played with regardless.

I'll be fitting mine behind a standard bumper initially.
When that gets damaged I'll build something that keeps or improves the approach angle.
The height of that 8274 is good - thanks for the pic and a tidy looking bit of kit BTW.
