the panards are supposed to be as level as possable to stop any axle steer as the car lifts and twists

tbh i would not extend the standard panhard rods they are made of very thin steel & bend very easy its best to just make new adjustable rods with some thicker wall tube

found a howto here in the forum and guy actually uses some bits to make then stronger:

www.bigjimny.com/index.php/forum/8-my-ji...s?limit=12&start=240

but thanks for the input, i'm really not decided yet on making or buying

Another question: suppose i leave it standard with 3" lift for a while, what this could cause?

cheers

sorry mate

just worried about worning out my arm to axle bushes too quickly or any other collateral effects

can't really picture the axle steer as described above, i'm new to this. Gonna take the car to a friend who is an engineer and hopefully he will help me out understanding all this. Sorry.

cheers

Don't be sorry.. just stated that it had already been answered :-)

But, if you are worried.. just get the panhard rod extended. If it breaks, get a new one. Shouldn't be hard to find a used.

About that bracket. It's not like it's a fortune or anything.. so why not just get it?

Better safe than sorry :-)
