I have found it make a difference as to what tyres your running must be to do with how stiff the side walls are. I have 2 sets of 235s, 1 set of Muds which I have found the ideal pressure for me is 18psi all round. When I got a set of ATs for general use I set them to 18psi and it was like driving on Jelly, they are now at 20psi and all is good. Like trextr7monkey says as the side wall starts to bulge at the bottom seems to be about right :)
