I use Lucas Heavy Duty Bearing Grease as it's made for extreme pressure and will take longer to wash out being water proof.
This was recommended to me by an experienced Challenge Competitor as it stayed in his wheel bearings longer than other greases.
If you bear in mind that Jimny swivel seals are rubbish even when new this is quite important if you are offroading!
The diff oil should stay in the diff sealed by a seal at the end of the axle oil tube. Both the CV and the Kingpins are only lubricated by grease packed into them.
