These are some im in the middle of making , bolted to chassis then welded there is also a 10x70mm flat bar welded ontop above the large hole joining both plates to stop any chassis twist

I do, see below - and 10mm it a bit over engineered when you look at what a tow bar is and mine hasn't changed shape!
and it got pulled out of this pickle using it:
If you are looking at this Mr Rafferty and know where at Slindon this is and how it got there, please don't laugh at me too loudly!
Sam - this is what not to do at Slindon in Little Ooky!

Surely 10mm is well over engineered? How thick is the steel on the chassis?

thanks guy some good tips there
was out last night down my mates farm,i have a second garage down there for storage etc and came across some thing what i made back last year for a few friends some ground ancers for the bikes will put pics up to night going to look good
