Adam, hi!
I am satisfied with the reduction of the Jimny the way it is!
Here in Brazil we have a friend who developed a reduction in the most, believe to be the same "rocklobster" which you guys know.
Therefore, I have reduced the most in my car.
For steeper hills, which is when I really feel the need for more power, more torque does not believe that would be ideal for me.
But thank you for your opinion anyway!

The gear set you have we also get its a 2.65-1 reduction ( not much more than standard)
With a rock lobster you have options of 4-1 6-1 or even 8-1
As you can see this would change yor truch massivley

You remove the 1.3 litre Jimny engine and install a 1.6 litre Suzuki baleno/vitara engine.
This gives around 95 bhp, instead of 80 bhp

Ow, I got it...
And that i was trying to avoid...
Other people told me to change for a Vitara Engine, or AP2.0 engine...
It´s common here in Brasil!
But i ratter prefer something less "drastic"...
