With the Re-location brackets on it also gives the shock about 1.5 inch more travel.

thanks

So, got the passengers side changed no probs but........

Moved onto the drivers side and got the bottom bolt out ok but the top bolt....

I have had an aceteleyne torch on it, hung off it, hit it, WD40'd it, shouted at it!

When turning the bolt with my spanner, the bush inside the damper 'eye' is spinning.

the more i turn it, the more it spins and the chassis mount for the damper appears to be opening up more & more, like a clam!

I have given up and will be taking it to a local garage to change the last shock, ive spent a whole weekend (in the rain) under the jimny and it WILL NOT come off!

So, with a stiff neck and battered knuckles i am patiently waiting for the garages to open on monday!
