Water in the roof? was created by Sam_
driving back from work today it sounded like there was water swashing about above my head never heard it before but might of had something to do with the heavy rain all day.
is there drainage channels in the roof or something i need to check for?
There's no sign of water inside the cab so it's very odd!

Do you have a sunroof? I used to have a Clio with sunroof. If it rained overnight, and i drove up or downhill the following morning you could hear water trickling down the rain channels

No, no sunroof. Do have roof lights that were fitted when i bought it but its never made the noise before.
Very odd did it on the way to work as well but I guess its because the rain didn't let up all night....

Sam, if the rain was heavy, there are only 2 small drain holes on the side of the roof pod ... you might have gunk in those ... hence there probably was water under the pod.
Roof definatly wont leak ... there is enough silkaflex around the hole for the wires & silicone around the inside of the roof pod
