Catalytic converter cover. was created by dogseal
Hi to all,
I've had the car for about 6 months now & its been reliable ( As most japanese cars are) .
Could have done with a bit more snow this winter though!
Just recently, its had a rattle coming from under the car which has been driving me mad.
I had a poke around underneath & found the cover for the catalytic converter had corroded on 2 of the mounting points.. I've managed to remove the cover using an angle grinder to get the bolt heads off.
The cat itself looks in good condition.
Does anyone on here know where I can get a replacement? Knowing how pricey suzuki parts are.
Cheers for any input,
Tim.

Hi,
I seem to remember that catalytic converters can crack if they get soaked with water ( fords , big puddles etc ) & the cover is there to keep some of it off..

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationMine had exactly the same rattle, all four mounting holes rusted out, I put a stainless steel universal hose clip round it to hold it in place.
