Hi i have a 1999 v reg jimny , it recently has started behaving strange on tick over , when it starts from cold it starts fine and ticks over about 700rpm but over the next ten minutes as the engine warms up the tick over steadly increses to about 1500rpm and will stay there , i have checked the hoses and the one way vacum valve that goes in to the rocker cover all seems ok , it runs fine and starts first time , help its driving me mad !!!! any ideas?

Sounds like your idle air control valve is stuck. :(
