Pro's:

(a) You dont have to get a mounting kit and speedo adaptor, just drop them into your t-box
(b) Cost effective because of (a).

Con's:

(a) They are 2.65:1 compared to 4:1 for a RockLobster, I had a similar set on my Jimny and it was not low enough for me.
(b) Relies on the existing Chain Drive.

Yes that would be good could someone complete a table with high ratio as well and stick it somewhere handy? No rude suggestions thanks!!

Martin may be able to fill you in on some of the stock stuff, these are the ratios for the SJ rocklobster boxes made by Rob Storr. I have a 6:1 in mine with near 32" tyres (750.16's) and find the on road gearing a little undergeared but off road its amazing, it'll climb near anything given the traction - hard work going anywhere in reverse in low box though !. 4:1 is the most popular ratio, I had a Rob Storr one in my first jimny and it was fantastic with 215/80/15 tyres which were about 29".
the 'cut and welded' boxes that some make at home are 4:1 ratio I believe.

4:1 Works great with tyres up to 30” 12% High - 83% Low £375.00

5:1 Well suited for 31” & 32” 21% High - 128% Low £475.00

6:1 The only great gear set designed for 33” 24% High - 170% Low £525.00

8:1 King of the rocks, makes you lower than a
Snakes belly 24% High - 260% Low £625.00

jimny electric, manual transmission
1.001 high, 2.002 low
jimny electric, auto transmission
1.32 high, 2.643 low

see above, the electrical t-case has the reduction 1;2, manual or auto. the manual t-case has 1;1.5

jimny manual, manual transmisssion
1.32 high, 2.145 low
jimny manual, auto transmission
i don't know :S

a samurai of my friend, but don't know if it's samurai or sj413 really, year is 92-93 manual transmission
1.409 high, 2.268 low

also, i think it's not so helpful to post percentages or gear reduction without mentioning what is the original
