all fitted ... Basically a BIG improvement!!
so, my new BigJimny.com steering damper kit and a £10 eBay (Green Oval) damper is fitted - nice instructions by the way Martin - Cheers!
I'd like to say I don't have the dreaded Death Wobble anymore but I'd be telling porkie-pies - its still there.... BUT, it's much better, and something that comes at around 36mph (is now only slight - but still there) and gone at 43mph ...
Something that i can now live with!!

Brett,
You will notice I haven't mentioned Jimny wobble in my article on the steering damper, this is because mine still wobbles on and off with it fitted. However in terms of good, positive steering feel, reduction of wandering and tramlining etc. i find my damper to improve the steering.
At present we are playing with adjustable Panhard Rods and it has been noted that we can really get very bad "Death Wobble" whilst playing with Panhard Rod bushes, so this is another possible area that cuases issues. I hired a Jimny in Mallorca and this had the wobble in a standard, farily new roadgoing Jimny.

Have you seen these Martin?

They might firm things up a bit more than the standard rubber and help to eliminate wobble.
It's got to be bush related somewhere down the line as I know you've changed all bearings and still had it.
