New Jimny Owner needs help with Automatic Trans...

Hello Guru's... I need your help!

I am located on a very small Caribbean Island and recently purchased an older Jimny... I see huge potential for this bad boy!!!

My Mechanic says it needs a Transmission... it was abused her entire life and its apparently shot.. the unit has sat for the past 3 years as well. Can anyone tell me where I can get a Transmission rebuild kit? Is there an "American" counterpart that parts will fit? Will the Sidekick parts work?

well the sidekick or vitara as we know it over here is totaly differant to a jimny so thats a no

i think your best option will be to buy a good used auto box
