I can't remember which model you have now, if its CANBus then its not KWP2000. Otherwise if the software that you're using doesn't tell you then you need to interrogate the ECU using the AT commands and hyperterminal.

I've had a number of enquiries about remapping to suit the G16B conversion and today I finally got around to having another look at the G13BB Jimny ECU. I didn't have a matching immo so I hacked the codes to get it to work with a Baleno immo using one of my Vit keys. I've made up a new cable to hook it up to my test set and programmed my waveform generator with the cam sensor waveform and I have the ECU running.

I've refitted the header for the debugger for the processor and my next step is to get that tracing so I can implement address hitting for the maps. I'm using Rhinoview to monitor the live data stream from the diagnostic port.

Think i will stick to Fly Tying :laugh:
