Howya gang, i shall be sending the Jimny for its NCT (MOT), i aint too worried, however my drivers side mirror is smashed and the entire unit is in bad condition, cracked etc ! So i was hoping someone on here has some good info on where to pick up a new unit ??
Try a breakers yard, don't know if you have one locally, or Ebay, or a breaker on Ebay!
I got one (passenger side) at a local breaker but the Gorilla ( apologies to any breakers yard employees, I know you're not all the same!) who retreived it from the stricken vehicle cut the bl***y wires ! instead of un plugging them. I told him he'd just halved it's value and they reluctantly reduced the price. I tried to be clever and swap out the internals rather than join the wires as the back cover of mine was broken as well and it took AGES both very nearly ended up in the bucket.
If it's just the glass you can get stick on replacements again Ebay.

On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.
Cheers John, might just replace the glass to get through the NCT and then get on a hunt for a new unit, just looks a bit shabby and i dont want it to fall off when i get into a rut haha !
