Can anyone help?

Does anyone know what the diff ratio options are on Jimny.

Have a feeling this jimny has had a diff replacement but may not be the correct one.

I can count how many pinion turns = 1 wheel turn to work it out.

I would just like to know if there are alot of diff options out there, so ensure get a correct diff to replace it.

Alongside the BigJimny.com flash there is a menu in red

Click on "information" then "general information" then "Transfer box and Diff ratio information"

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

As i understand it the only difference in ratio is on the automatics vs manuals. If its a different ratio then it could easily be from an auto.
There was a thread recently discussing the differences in the diffs in terms of number of bolts and spline count. I think the vvt ones have more bolts and different spline count.

Hello ,

jimnys until 2005 have 11/43 diff ratio. ( 3.909 )

jimnys from 2006 and after have 10/43 (4.300)

and there are also the diffs from the japan spec jimnys 2001 sport with 11/45 (4.091)

These are the stock availiable.

If you want something aftermarket the only option here is the r&p from here
