Split Charge System.

at a guess i would run that on "auto" that way it will keep both battery's toped up

yeah just looked it up, it does it automaticaly. but when you decharge it(winching) press the link button and it will keep both charging to you have the most power for winching
then it can be put back to auto when you just want it to charge each as normall, it will click from link to auto in about 15 mins automaticaly.

yeah about £70-80 i think alot of people use them with the national luna monitor to watch the battary levels, so i might invest in that

While I have been trawling through the net all I have found has been 4 terminal relays.2Small spades for the switching coil and 2 large ones.1brings power in and the other takes it out.Haven't seen one like you descibe. Where did you get it? Do you have a link?

output 1 (to car battery)
output 2 (to slave battery)
