Why do you need them in such a hurry? The trucks not going to be any more capable with them, only in terms of allowing room for slightly bigger rubber. Just by fitting them alone you'll not gain any more than room in the arches in essence. You're not getting any room under the diffs, imho wait until the new year and get the full kit off dave. I've only used mine briefly off road since fitting the shock extensions etc and i'm made up with it especially using some proper tyres.

I'm sure that there's no inherent problem with the way the ebay ones fit but theres something in mind i don't like about fitting the spacer then the stock rubber. The bits4vits ones replace the stock rubbers.

I have been given a set of Vitara wheels with 215 tyres on them and am going on the New Year Eve meet at Pateley Bridge. So wanted the spacers to avoid tyres fouling bodywork.

I'd still wait until the new year and get daves full kit. Its far better value for money. Look at dirtydogz thread in the "my jimny" section, hes done the budget body lift. You undo all the body mounts and put the rubbers between the body and chassis giving you 1" more clearance, not much but will help.

Are they 16" GV rims?

Ian, I have 1" ones off Ebay on mine and they are crap mate, they are too big on the lip to fit into the rubber seats so don't seat properly, I'm getting a proper 2"lift from Jimnybits after xmas (sorry Martin, yours are a bit too pricey for me ) !
