Quick question, did the rear axle on Jimnys change at all between 1999 & 2002 as I have the chance of a 2000 one for my 2002 model which has just about had it ?
If you mean axle then as long as you get an ABS or non-ABS one as is appropriate to your needs then you will be ok.
If you mean diff, then you need to watch out for auto or manual as the diff ratios vary
