Cheers Gary, but went to local tool shop. They had rachets for about £30-£40.But managed to get a T-bat for £7. Put about a foot of pipe on it and I think it should do the trick. All I want now is a few days of dry weather.
Got a few jobs to do before New Years Eve. N/side kingpin bearings, 2" spring spacers and associated bracketry and all oils to change.
Ian.

Id love to do some work on mine, but cannot get it in my garage and it's to cold!
I might have to take it upto a mates workshop so I can have a day on it.

My STUPID idea giving it so much lift!

Things to do ----paint cage, fit arches, rear diff/locker, n/s/r wheel bearing, rock lobster, paint and weld ora front winch bumper then replace all fluids, remove rear springs and fit spring clamps, signwriting and window tints.

And now looks like i'm working between crimbo and new yr :-(

I'll fit ur lift, kingpins and oils if you do all mine! ;-)

make sure you have a blowtorch or similar to hand.
Those drain plugs can be very tight/gunged up but a bit of heat I have found loosens them up nicely everytime without rounding the hole off...
