Thanks.
Thanks.

You could try Cam Suzuki - I think that around 2005 the spline count on the inside of the cv joint changed so depending on whether or not yours is VVT will dictate which one. Maybe best to check first. If you decide to change the halfshaft and cv together as a unit it doesn't matter which one you get as the diff end is the same on both, as is the drive hub end.
Edit
Sorry just reread your original and you ask for a new one. Obviously Cam wil be 2nd hand. New one I'm not sure other than Suzuki, but probably someone else will know.

no idea if its the right one but

And this place has a big listing but if you click on the details it says no longer stocked.
Might be worth giving them a call.

I would rather have a second hand genuine one than a pattern one for the strength, albeit the words strength and Jimny cv's don't usually sit together.

My local Suzuki dealer told me that according to their "system" the CV joint appears to some as part of the axle assembly and that they had never been asked to supply nor replace one. They told me it was more likely to be the Kingpin bearings plus the other bearing - cost to supply and fit ~£400!

As others have explained, there are a number of different CV joints fitted over the years to Jimnys.
One version requires the complete half-shaft to be changed as it only comes from Suzuki as a complete assembly.
One version comes from Blueprint but only fits certain models due to different spline counts.
If the Blueprint does not fit then go to a specialist rebuilder such as "reco-prop" in Luton. They will rebuild any CV. The last one cost me £85 which is not bad.
