Standard Jimny springs was created by TomDK
Hi
Can anyone tell me what specifications are on standard Jimny springs, that is total unsprung length and spring rate.
I'm considering these springs, www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.php/builde...id-coil-springs.html but don't know what length and spring rate to buy. You may know that I'm planning on a Cosworth V6 or perhaps Lexus V8, so this should be taken into consideration also.

I just replaced my springs with Monroe Adventure's (Standard). The old springs I have are 280 mm rear and 330 mm Front. I am sure they have sagged the new standard springs lifted the car a fair bit. I couldn't get my hand between the rear tyre and the top of the arch palm side on top to bottom. Now my hand has plenty of room.

Stock springs are front 33cm, rear 29cm for the gasoline older version
on newer gasoline versions (VVT engine), front ones are 35cm long.
The rate, for the stock springs, should be around 120lbs/inch
Hope this helps
