front bumper removal was created by myers647
Hi I'm going to remove my front bumper so i can make a Winch tray. How easy is it to remove, is there any handy tips doing this and roughly how long will it take.
I will be putting it back on so it cant just be cut off.

Thanks

James

There are 4 fixings in the arches 3 along the top under the bonnet and a few in the bottom corners holding in the arch liners. 2 bigger ones behind the number plate and a couple underneath in the middle which are likely to be rusted in and will need ground off. Apart from the ones underneath its pretty easy to remove and should only take 15 mins. I wouldn't think it would be legal to drive without a bumper due to sharp edges, but its really quick to put back on, i only have the top fixings and the ones behind the no plate holding mine on and its pretty solid and not fallen off yet.
