Rough Running Jimny was created by p1ngu32
Got a bit of a problem with a friends jimny, i did the head gasket on it about 10k+ miles ago had the head skimmed etc, after the radiator burst and the gasket got cooked. One year on and its now started running rough, i swapped the cam sensor and coil packs with mine and no change. If i disconnect injector 2 or 3 individually it runs exactly the same as it does with them plugged in. I would have done a compression test on it but the pipe on my tester isn't long enough to reach the plug hole in the head.
My thoughts are that the head gasket has gone again but between cylinder 2 and 3 this time. Any input appreciated before i go start taking it apart again!

Can you carry out a cylinder leakage test at all? That will definitely confirm weather it is head gasket failure for sure.

Fixed this a while ago, it was the head gasket, the sealing rings round cylinders 3 and 4 were in bits, the new gasket ive fitted seems much better made than the last one i was supplied so fingers crossed it lasts longer.
