31's!!! was created by ooky_123
Well, I have just bailed a mate out of a financial rutt and in return, have "purchased" a set of wheels I sold back last year, together with almost new Kingpin MT's fitted for the pricely sum of £200 for wheels and tyres.

Only thing is the tyres are 31x10.5x15's which gives me an extra 2" clearance, but to fit them, I need to install my new extended brake hoses and 2" body lift.

Any guesses on how long the transmission is gonna last when they are fitted until I end up changing the Transfer box and or gearbox ?

i think it depends on driving style. tranny and Tbox should be fine, clutch will be first to go, so take it easy on the clutch (if thats possible)
rock lobster box will sort it out nicely

As has been said, if your driving style is sympathetic to the car then everything will be fine. I would guess you will end up like me, you will not like the gearing change and will get tired of it before it breaks.

Your probably right there Martin.
My biggest concern is probably going to be how it drives up steep rutted inclines... As you say ... Gearing will probably be my biggest anoyance id the paddle clutch doesnt give in first.
