Here's how I did mine using scaffold pipe and inch and a half by not quite sure but thick angle (recycled telephone exchange equipment frame).
Six inch length angle welded to front (behind front wheel) outrigger with two nuts welded to inside. then another length bolted to it long enough to stick out far enough for bar.

Rear bolted to rear outrigger (round one) captive nuts inside pipe, again long enough to stick out far enough.

Then stiched the scafold tube to the two protruding angles.

Unbolt, weld up, paint and refit.

Then cover with a liberal coat of mud to complete the effect!!

The angle iron brackets are fitted in the "V" position for maximum clearance and minimum "catchability".

On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.

Hi adam I noticed on one of your sliders you have welded a "u" shaped hoop
any reason for this?
Thanks again .Tony

We are currently drawing up some sweet weld on rock sliders for the Jimny, which will be available online in the next few weeks.

As people have already said, there is not an easy/nice way of bolting on a good sturdy rock slider as the chassis/sill are very awkward shapes to work with.
