Weld on is all well and good but there is a bigger market for people wanting a bolt on solution as they donot have access to professional welding equipment suitable for heavy duty preparation & welding to the chassis rails.

Ive been planning on getting some bolt on mounts made up myself but work commitments over the last 9 months have meant I havnt been able to spend time trawling though fabrication outfits willing to help me. "if" im back in the UK before Christmas, I will get around to getting some sorted.. Unless someone can knock me a set of bars and mounts to my design for less than £200

Like kirkynut, I too am using spreader plates to weld to the chassis.

Done!.... Now I just need to paint them then get them welded on to the chassis:

I'll post pictures when completed and fitted to the car however it won't be for a few weeks.

Rock sliders rubbed down and cleaned ready to be painted:

Etch primer then acrylic primer:

Satin black top coat:

Now drying in the airing cupboard then to be welded on (hopefully tomorrow) :)

Once they were all fitted and gusseted up, we had two guys jumping up and down on them (26 stone combined!) and they are sooool-id!

We'll be out giving them some stick for real in the next few weeks. ;)
