Depends what you want to do with it I would say try and put it back to standard as it will tie up with the ratios in the transfer and gear box

Not sure found problem as two garages have said the bolts holding axle do not look like they have been touched. which made them doutfull.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Just ask them to check the differentials have the same ratio front and rear. From your earlier reply, they haven't.
Jimnys use special "rustomatic" bolts between the axle and the suspension arms. They look rusty and undisturbed after a few weeks. Mine look 100 years old and they were cleaned up perfectly last year when I changed the trailing arm bushes.
The differential could have been changed with the axle still in place, this is easier than changing the axle, but they don't break very often, so there isn't really any reason to change one.

He wants to count the teeth on the crownwheel.
Removing the diffs is a bit of a pain, and takes a morning.
It is difficult for us to diagnose problems by forum, rather than having the car next to us.
Based on what you said, I think the diffs are different. If it were mine, I'd take them out, count the teeth, and get one to give a matched pair, then refit.
This would leave the car on axle stands immobile for a while though.
