It's a 2002 and don't think the belts will have been changed before. It doesn't look like a fun job to do on the drive..... let alone down a muddy lane! Will take you advice of keeping spare belts in too, once I'm sure I've got the right ones.

it took me only ONE HOUR start to end on the drive (in my garage - no lift/ramp) ... hardest part is getting the radiator off/on -- and thats only 2 bolts for the Rad and 4 for the simon, and two hose-clips, then remove the viscous fan (4 studs) ...
Its so so much easier without the Radiator!!
Do it now, before they break when you DONT WANT THEM TOO!

Thanks, have sent you a pm. Good advice - things always break at the worst time!

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Was this on a twin cam?
The only difficulty I encountered was in getting the alternator pivot bolt undone so the alternator would move.
Took me half a day to strip the radiator out, and remove the alternator brackets from the engine, but that includes 50 trips into the shed and garage coming back with a different spanner/lever/socket/bowl for water etc. each time
now getting a tool through the hole in the tensioner to apply tension was a bit of trouble too
