Installing an Amp..? was created by lukeyblunt
Hi Everyone,

Just bought this tiny amp .. and i don't have a clue what any of the wires do and where they need to go.
I've seen a lot of video tutorials.. but on there.. it seems each wire has a seperate port- whereas this one is just one plug with multiple wires..?

I also cant make any sense of the instruction leaflet. Sorry to be a nuisance.

Any help is appreciated! Many thanks

The diagram on the case shows that there are 4 speaker pairs labelled 1 left & right and 2 left & right

The red with the fuse is likely power in, black will be earth.

No idea what it is supposed to do so can't help with any other wires, could be trigger in from a preamp, mute in from a phone, preamp power out.....

Can't see any inputs either..

What do you need it for?

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Thanks for your response. I bought a 500W underseat sub which didnt fit under the seat, so i'm selling that.
But for now, i figured i'd plum it all in then fit the sub when i get it.

That is not the right amp for a sub, a sub is only a single channel, although some systems run a pair of subs. You can bridge the amps to double the power, but you need 8 ohm speakers then.
Looks like a 4 channel power amp, but not much power, I bet your radio is more powerful than that.

Don't know much about car audio I'm afraid

Does the amp have any settings for high/low pass filters?

What inputs are you going to use?
