I have one of these fitted, with a centre mounted Ariel on teh roof (mag mount).
I have mine plumbed into the radio switched +12v supply and an inline choke fitted.
Location, below the ash tray. (used to have it mounted on the top of the dash but at night, the illumination was too bright and distracting
