Not hijacking the thread but I have never head of the problem with the 3 spoke alloys - we have a virtually brand new set with no tyres which we intended to fit on at some point (obviously after we have fitted tyres
) but then we bought some others; post face lift 5 spokes which aren't in such good condition. My gut feeling was to go with the better condition 3 spokes but are you suggesting I might be bettter refurbing the 5 spokes then fitting them? All opinions welcome can start another thread if requiredatb

If you have the Suzuki 3 spoke alloys then these are another wobble point.
There are many discussions on here regarding wheel wobble.

I had a similar problem with mine kingpins done made it better but didn't cure it however I noticed that the tyre had worn unevenly so swapped it for the unused spare wobble disappeared, so could have been the rim, tyre or balance on top of the kingpin.

I did have uneven wear on the front o/side tyre (Bridgestone Duelers) - I've had all the tyres replaced today with Goodyear Wrangler ATR's. While the front was up in the air, I could not feel any horizontal play - I could not feel any vertical play in the o/side wheel (that's just had the King Pins replaced) - But there was vertical play (a couple of mm) on the n/side wheel. So that has to be my first investigation, probably King Pins!
